We’re publishing some exciting updates to our grow light calculator.

A week ago, we launched our grow light calculator. We only had grow lights from two manufacturers then. But a few days ago, we published our first update to the app by adding a staggering number of grow lights.

But we noticed that we could also solve another problem for growers in the same calculator—computing the optimal distance of grow lights from plants.

You can learn more about the science behind grow light distancing in our latest post. We now use this method to automatically compute the optima grow light distance for your plants. Not to mention, the new look and feel.

This technique is used by agronomist to find the initial heigh of the grow light. But this method alone isn’t sufficient to determine the sweet spot. But from here, you can adjust the grow light to get the best result.
